Huayan Dharma Assembly Was Hold in Falun Temple of Kongtong Mountain

On June 26th(the third day of the sixth lunar month),it’s the first time for Kongtong Mountain to hold the Huayan Dharma Assembly. Meanwhile, more than one hundred monks, such as ,Lingyin Temple’s abbot Baokang master of Dayu Mountain and Fojian master of Hong Kong’s Zhan Shan Temple, chanted prayers and blessed for the loved.

During Buddhism events,many devout men and women gathered in Falun Temple to pray the loved. Thus, the Great Buddha’s Hall appeared to be of magnificence. Looking around, pilgrims came together to go sight-seeing in scenic area, which made a matchless picture with the rising wave of smoke.

“Hua yan jing” is called “The generous and broad Buddha,”which is the first classic of the Buddha’s enlightenment, and is known as “the first of the classics, the King of the classics”.Hua yan jing explains Buddhism’s most complete world view.At the end of the Ming dynasty, master han shan said, “if you don't read Leng yan jing, you cannot understand the key to solve the difficulties; if you do not read fa hua, do not know to save the world’s pains; if you don’t read hua yan jing, you do not know the wisdom of Buddhism.”

By report,the assembly would last 21 days.It is From the third day of the sixth lunar month to the seventh day. During events, masters and monks need to chant sutra in Baoqing Temple and Chaan Temple spreading in Kongtong Mountain scenic area.
