Kite Shows Performed in Kongtong Town

On March 8, at the opening ceremony of Women’s Day,the Kongtong Scenic Area held a kite competition themed by 'flying your dream, flying your hope'. Akite performance team from Weifang City (the hometown of kites) in Shandong province, showed a fascinating stunt kite for the audience.

Weifang City of Shandong, the home of the world kite is named the National Kite country. Weifang is also called Weidu or Yuandu, which has a long history and exquisite workmanship in making kite.At the scene of the performance, the traditional kites, software kites, dragon stringkites , stunt kites gathered together to performed a big show.This show brought a wonderful visual feastfor tourists and citizens.
